Bonfire Camp Season featured two sessions featuring a three week musical theatre intensive. Ignite summer camps condense everything from an Ignite main stage production into several whirlwind weeks of music, dance, acting, and a whole lot of fun. These camps cover everything from audition training, set construction, costume design and performance elements and conclude with three full scale performances for family, friends and St. Louis musical theatre enthusiasts.



Session 1: Disney's Cinderella Kids (June 12-July 1) 

Open to Performers 4-12 year old 

Disney's treasured animated film charms its way to the stage, fairy godmother and mice in tow.

The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale becomes a new audience favorite inDisney’s Cinderella KIDS, an adaptation of the treasured animated film that will charm its way into your heart and remind audiences that dreams really can come true.

Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends – and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother – Cinderella’s dreams come true. She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love!


Session II: Disney's the Lion King Jr. (July 10-August 13) 

For Performers Ages 5-14 (Raising Freshman)

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, for the first time ever, you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your your school. The African savannah comes to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

This educational and performance opportunity includes individualized lesson plans about the culture and history of this classic story. This show will feature partnerships with several St. Louis based African non-profits to ensure tradition costuming, staging and storytelling are authentic.

Little Shop Of Horrors June 6-July 30

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little MermaidBeauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
